COVID-19 Update

Based on national and local guidance concerning the corona virus pandemic, the BAGS Board has cancelled all in-person activities of the Bay Area Genealogical Society until further notice. Our monthly General Meetings will now be held online in a webinar format. For the most part, our guest speakers will remain the same. You will need to register for each webinar session. See details about each month’s meeting below.

Speaker: Linda Hudson discusses Quaker ancestry research. Quakers made excellent records. Their records began around 1650 in England and extended to the colonies. They used their own “shorthand.” Learn about the records they kept, how to interpret them and more about their fascinating society.
