An important item discussed at our April meeting was the opportunity to participate in the Community Rewards program with Kroger. By participating in this program, we can secure additional funds for our budget.

If you already possess a Kroger card or digital account, integrating this feature into your card is a straightforward process. For those without a Kroger card, consider acquiring one if you frequently shop there. These cards are readily accessible at any Kroger’s customer service desk. After obtaining your card, create your online account.

When you have an online Kroger account established, go to the Kroger Community Rewards web page.
Scroll down the page until you see two light blue boxes (near the bottom). Click on the box that says “Link Your Shopper’s Card / Get Started.”

On the next web page, look at your “Donation Summary” box near the top of the page. If you already have another organization linked for donations, it will be listed here. You can change this to support BAGS if you desire. To set BAGS as your donation organization, simply enter Bay Area Genealogical Society or HY346 in the search bar and click enroll.
